Everything That A Person Must Know Regarding The Various Options Of The Technology

Every day, we’re bombarded by headlines that promise to help us make better buying decisions. Some are more believable than others, but it’s hard to tell which ones will actually be helpful when you get down to the nitty gritty of shopping for a new device or service. Here are some of the most interesting tech-related headlines from today and last week, as well as a few tips on how to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Apple’s iPhone XS Is More Expensive Than Its Older Models

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to upgrade your iPhone, Apple’s latest and greatest is now available in stores around the country. But if you want to save money, don’t buy an iPhone XS Max, because it costs more than any previous model did.

The iPhone XS starts at $999 (£899, AU$1,599) while the smaller iPhone XR starts at $749 (£699, AU$1,149). The iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099 (£999, AU$1,799) while the larger XS Max starts at $1,249 (£1,199, AU$1,829). (Note: prices shown above have not yet been updated.) If you’re looking to upgrade your iPhone, there’s no need to spend thousands of dollars. All of these phones come with the same features, minus the fancy glass backs.

Having the idea of the detail type of the options that are available for the people will help him in choosing the right option. A person should go through the tech news and finalize the products that are available for the people in the long run. The option will prove to be a good none after they make the proper analysis.

Samsung Announces Foldable Galaxy Z Flip For Preorders This Month

Samsung has announced its foldable smartphone called the Galaxy Z Flip. It’s due out later this month, but only via preorder.

Samsung said the phone’s screen can unfold into a 360-degree display measuring 6.6 inches diagonally when opened up. Samsung was also quick to point out that the phone is not meant for commercial use. “It’s designed to be used by individuals,” explained Samsung representative, Jay Nana.

“There are many things you can do with a flexible screen like watch videos, browse through news articles, take photos — or simply play games,” added Nana.

A spokesperson for Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy Z Flip will be available in select markets, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, and Spain.

Google’s New Pixel 4 Could Come With 12MP Dual Cameras Like the One in the Mate 20 Pro

Google might be working on a successor to the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. According to a report from Bloomberg, the company could release two Pixel 4 models: one with dual rear cameras and another with a single camera. Both models would reportedly launch in October.

But why would Google even try to compete with other flagship devices from Huawei, OnePlus, and Samsung? In addition to being able to capture stunning shots, the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL’s 12 MP dual camera setup is capable of capturing video at 120 frames per second. That’s twice the frame rate of the Galaxy S9 Plus’ 8 MP shooter.

Additionally, the Google Pixel 3 has a bigger sensor than the Huawei P20 Pro and the OnePlus 6T, both of which boast similar camera specs. So what gives? Well, according to the report, Google’s efforts to produce a high-end Android handset could lead to the company creating its own hardware division. And if that happens, Google could eventually offer its own line of premium smartphones.

Microsoft Launches Windows Lite Edition OS to Get People Into Microsoft Apps

Windows Lite is a version of Windows 10 designed for those who aren’t interested in using the full operating system. While it still comes with all of the standard Windows apps, Windows Lite has several unique features. For example, it doesn’t support touchscreens, so you won’t be able to swipe through screens or open apps. Instead, you’ll have to navigate everything using keyboard shortcuts or mouse clicks.

When it launched back in April, Windows Lite had a limited number of apps preloaded, but Microsoft has since expanded that list significantly. Now, you can download nearly 200 free apps, including popular productivity apps like Word and Excel, and entertainment apps like Netflix and Spotify.

You can install Windows Lite on any computer, tablet, or phone running Android 4.4 KitKat or higher. To learn more about the operating system, check out our guide here.

Facebook’s Portal Video Calls Are Live in US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand

Facebook’s Portal video calls allow you to talk to anyone in your home with a compatible smart speaker. They can answer questions, give directions, and provide information. These calls work just like regular FaceTime conversations.

As Facebook notes, the Portal is currently only available in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. However, the social media giant says it plans to expand the feature to additional countries in the future.

How to Use Your Google Home Mini Smart Speaker Like a Smart TV Remote Control

Google Home Mini is a great little device that brings voice control to your living room. Unfortunately, it can’t do anything too useful without an internet connection. Fortunately, there are ways around that limitation.

First, connect your Google Home Mini to your Wi-Fi network. Then, head on over to the Chromecast app on your phone or tablet. Once you’re connected, you should see your Google Home Mini listed under the Cast tab. Tap it to begin controlling your TV.

Next, find the show or movie you’d like to watch on your television. Next, tap the Cast icon again, then choose the Google Home Mini from the menu that appears. Finally, select Watch on TV. Google Assistant will ask you which channel you’d like to watch. Select the channel, then follow the instructions onscreen to start watching shows and movies.

How to Set Up Alexa on Amazon Echo Dot Devices

Amazon’s Echo Dot smart speakers are great for getting things done. But they still require you to interact with them verbally. If you prefer a hands-free experience, you may want to consider Alexa-enabled devices like the Amazon Fire Stick.

To set up Alexa on your Echo Dot, first ensure that your Echo Dot is powered off and unplugged from power. Then, turn your Echo Dot on and wait a couple of seconds until you hear the sound of the device powering up. When it does, press and hold the top right corner of the device for 15 seconds. Next, hold down the Power button on the bottom edge of the device for 5 seconds.

Finally, plug your Echo Dot into a power source and wait until the device powers up completely before trying to pair it with your Alexa account. After that, you should be ready to go.
