The Chance Phelps Foundation (CPF) offers assistance to veterans and their families to meet a variety of needs. CPF partners with local military service organizations, national and international military helps programs, individuals, and corporations to provide financial and personal assistance.

In 2009 the Chance Phelps Foundation and Gretchen Mack became the "Ambassador of Hope: for the state of Wyoming by working closely with Hope for the Warriors, one of the many organizations CPF uses to help applicants. CPF participants in events to help specific family needs. In 2009, CPF sponsored a Wood Day for veterans and their families in Fremont County, Wyoming. Firewood was cut, blocked and delivered to families in Pavillion, Riverton, Hudson, Lander, and Fort Washakie on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Veterans, their families, and Gold Star families are eligible to apply for CPF's Warrior Week. These camps are held in the Dubois, Wyoming area. CPF hosts the camps in conjunction with a guest ranch to offer a unique outdoor experience and a chance to connect with others walking a parallel journey.
